Farewell to Homburg, Germany!
May 29 to May 31, 2024
The Yeast Lipid Conference (YLC) is a biannual international scientific meeting that explores
all aspects of yeast and fungal lipids, from basic discoveries to biotechnology.
YLC 2024 was a great occasion, covering cutting-edge technologies and a wide spectrum of topics
related to lipids in fungi including biomedicine, biotechnology, cell biology, and biochemistry.
Through talks, posters and long relaxing meals, we met the goal of discussion and scientific exchange across disciplines.
Our conference touched on four major topic areas:
Membrane lipids & metabolism
Protein-membrane interactions
Inter-organelle communication
Yeast as a platform for lipid production
