How to arrive?
By train
The city of Graz is well connected to the international railway network and the central railway station is located close to the center of Graz. Several tram lines and busses are leaving from the central railway station and will bring you to the city center within 10 min. For instance, the conference venue can be reached with tram line 6.
By bus
From several European Cities Graz can be reached by FlixBus. A FixBus stop is located in 10-minute walking distance from the conference venue.
By plane
The airport “Graz-Thalerhof (GRZ)” is an international airport and about 10 km away from the venue. A shuttle bus or train can be chosen for transportation from the airport to the center of Graz (bus and train depart alternately in a ~ 15-minute rhythm). The bus stop is right outside the passenger terminal (bus 630 to “Zentralfriedhof” then change to tram line 5 straight to the city center). The train station is located approx. 300 m from the terminal. Trains will take you to Graz Central Railway Station. (Ticket costs (bus/train): currently 3,20 €).
By car
To minimize the CO2 footprint of the meeting, we encourage participants who are coming by car to carpool with other participants.
Public transport in Graz
We encourage participants from Europe to reduce the CO2 footprint of this meeting by considering traveling by train and public ground transportation.
